Kriti is a qualified Senior Occupational Therapist with 10 years’ experience in pediatrics in Dubai, with vast knowledge of principles and methods.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational therapy from New Delhi, India and has specialized in Sensory Integration from University of Southern California, USA and member of AOTA (American occupational therapy Association).
Her experience is across Sensory Processing Disorder, Autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, Cerebral palsy, Handwriting difficulties, ADHD, Developmental Delay, Dyspraxia and many other pediatric conditions.
In her prior roles she has led the occupational therapy department at pediatric center and administered day-to-day operations at the in-patient and out-patient occupational therapy departments at renowned children’s hospital in Dubai.
She regularly attends professional development courses, and continues learning from authentic source.
Speech and language pathologist, OPT (oral placement therapy) level 2,Natural Language Acquisition Practitioner level 3 and RBT certified,
Vani holds a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysore University, India.
She is trained and certified in RBT (behavior therapy) and in Oral placement therapy .
In her more than 5 years of practical experience, she has competently and efficiently handled infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school-aged children, and adults.
Ms. Vani specializes in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders, Autism, ADHD, Voice disorders, Articulation and Phonological disorders, specific language disorder, various genetic, motor disorders and feeding disorders/issues.
Vani has intensively worked on various researches majorly in
· Incidental teaching as a language intervention approach in an implanted child with apraxic features (presented in international conference on Audiology Sciences 2017),
· Comparison of fluency characteristics in news readers and controls and published in JAIISH (2015)
Ms. Vani is very keen in developing her professional knowledge and skills and using them for client benefit.
MS Arya is Dual Masters in Audiology and Speech and language Therapy, OPT Level 1
Ms. Arya holds Dual Masters degree in Audiology and speech and language therapy from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India.
Her expertise involves a wide spectrum of communication disorders, diagnosis and management of conditions such as Autism, ADHD, Articulation disorders, Language delays, Fluency disorders, Voice disorders, Cognitive-communication impairments, Dysphagia, and social communication challenges.
She holds good expertise in the application of diverse therapeutic approaches and techniques, custom-tailored to address the unique needs of each individual under her care.
In January 2019, she had an opportunity to present research titled "Mean Length of Utterance (MLU) Across Languages Varying in Morphological Typology: A Comparative Study in Typically Developing Children" at the 9th Emirates Otorhinolaryngology, Audiology, and Communication Disorders Congress, which was held in association with the German Society of ORL in Dubai. Additionally, this research was also featured at ISHACON.
Ms Arya' keen nature to learn and increase professional knowledge helps her to stay updated and aware of new researches and intervention plans that helps in the progression of children during assessments and therapy.
